This course has been designed with those who are new to the broad and fascinating world of Bushcraft. With a basic introduction to the equipment necessary and the techniques required for their use, this course includes instruction on knife, axe and saw techniques, carving and woodcraft, shelter building, primitive and modern fire lighting techniques, wild edible and medicinal plants and Tree Identification.  This is the ideal taster course for anyone wishing to see if Bushcraft skills are something they might wish to develop, or for someone simply wishing to learn some valuable camping or backpacking skills.

The course will begin at 9.30am (Students to arrive at 9am) and end at 4.30pm, the minimum age for this course is 8yrs. As we will be walking within woodland areas a reasonable level of fitness is essential for safety.

1 - 2 day course £70.00 per person per day and £45.00 for children under 16 years of age 

We are able to cater for large groups so please phone us for more dates which may be available.

• Good footwear (walking boots).
• Appropriate clothing such as a waterproof jacket and trousers (weather dependant).
• You are more than welcome to bring your own bushcraft kit like knives (inform instructor on day).
• A mug for hot or cold drinks (hot & cold water provided throughout the day).
• You must bring your own lunch and any food you may require for the day.
